Danny was at the Mesa City Council meeting on June 8, 2026 in solidarity with the ICE out of Mesa and No Data Centers protesters, when protesters were removed for holding small signs that a spectator claimed were obstructing the view. Danny caught some of it on video. There was no request that the spectator simply change seats, even though there were plenty of open seats. Even though that spectator disrupted the proceedings in the first place by yelling that the signs be lowered, no action was taken on her.

This an interview conducted by Bar Movshovitz, an official Director at Aebly Media on June 4 of Danny Hart, a progressive candidate for Mesa City Council in Mesa Arizona District 5.
