Danny's unique qualifications

With over 40 years as a business and civil litigation attorney, Danny brings unparalleled experience to the City Council. His background includes:

  • Drafting and advising clients with voluminous contracts and accounting records.
  • Complex negotiations.
  • Trials of complex cases involving a wide variety of people.
  • Volunteering as a mediator and a judge.
  • In recent years, helping out as a part-time Substitute Teacher for the Mesa Public Schools.

Danny will apply his skills and training to scrutinize every decision the City Council makes, ensuring practical and well-informed sound governance.

Truly Selfless Public Service

Danny is uniquely positioned to serve Mesa residents without extreme personal views or external influence. He is:

  • Least likely to be influenced by elites or financial incentives (e.g., large donations for future campaigns).
  • Not seeking a new career or personal enrichment.
  • Driven by duty and service, not ambition.
  • Lives modestly without any ties to social clubs, country clubs or the "Old Boy" network.
  • Free from any obligations to special interests, developers, or businesses.
  • Accepts only small individual donations without "quid pro quo."
  • Committed to devoting his full-time to the office, as he believes it is needed to understand the issues before acting.

His humble lifestyle, such as living in a one bedroom 55+ apartment and still driving his 13-year-old Nissan Xterra, reflects his genuine working class roots and desire for public service over personal gain.

"I look at this office as a job. I will use my skills to gather all relevant information about any issues that come up, and I will analyze it to make the best decision for my district."
